Hartington Family Weekend 07

We had our fifth family weekend at Hartington Hall in the heart of the Peak District recently, on the weekend during the festival of Succot. Nearly 70 people from 18 families, including 35 children aged between 2 and 14 years. Highlights included a splendid family service (with rampant lulav waving), Kiddush and Havdalah in our very own Succah (with adjacent goats), a torchlit walk, treasure hunt, and the usual ramble along the river Dove, and to top it off, entertainment on the Saturday night was provided by a local magician . A fantastic weekend was had by all!
